Gates GL Series Couplings

The Gates GL Series Couplings are designed for low-pressure hydraulic applications, featuring a pre-crimped soft shell for compatibility with lower pressure suction lines and return line hoses. They are not intended for use as live swivels and require special GL dies for installation. The couplings are lightweight and flexible, with a bubble pattern crimp design for optimal sealing to helical wire hoses in return vacuum applications. They are coated with TuffCoat™ plating, offering more than five times better corrosion resistance than SAE ASTMB117 specification. The GL coupling range starts at an internal diameter of -40 (2-1/2") and extends up to -64 (4"). These couplings are engineered by Gates to maximize production and minimize downtime, ensuring precise hose pressure for various applications.
